Program Details: 

The Pre-K and K program focuses on basic skills, such as cradling, scooping, catching, and throwing, in a positive and fun environment. The program is available for both Pre-K and Kindergarten girls and boys and is kept in town to focus on skills without the pressure of competing and traveling. The Pre-K and K program consists of six Sunday morning sessions. The sessions will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. at Phillips Park / Blocksidge Field. 

2025 Pre-K and K Dates:

• Week 1 - Sunday April 6
• Week 2 - Sunday April 13
• No Session APRIL 20 - Easter Sunday
• Week 3 - Sunday April 27
• Week 4 - Sunday May 4
• Week 5 - Sunday May 11
• Week 6 - Sunday May 18
• No Session May 25 - Memorial Day Weekend
• * Cold/Rain Date - Sunday June 1

* While we cannot guarantee that all sessions will take place due to Mother Nature, we know Spring weather is unpredictable. Therefore, we are reserving June 1 in case a session is canceled due to weather or field closures.

Required Equipment: 

Girls:

Stick, goggles, mouth guard. Limited supplies of sticks and eye protection are available (on loan) upon request through SNYL. Please let us know if you want to borrow equipment for the season by emailing SNYL [here].

Boys:

The Pre-K and K program will use regulation lacrosse sticks. A helmet, gloves, elbow pads, chest protector/shoulder pads, and mouth guard are required. Contact at this level will be held to a minimum, i.e., there may be some incidental, but control over sticks will be closely monitored.

Cost:  

Total of $100 per player for the season, of which $15 is for insurance through MYL. The remainder is for our town field use fee and general equipment costs. More information on MYL member benefits is available [here]
