Hi SYL Families,

Get your costumes and lacrosse sticks ready. Monster Mash is returning to the Swamp on Sunday, October 11!

Hosted by 3d New England in partnership with Swampscott Youth Lacrosse, Monster Mash is a one-day, Halloween-themed 6v6 lacrosse tournament held right here at Phillips Park / Swampscott Turf.

👻 What is Monster Mash?

Monster Mash combines fast-paced lacrosse with Halloween fun! Players compete on small-sided teams in 6v6 games, including goalies, giving everyone plenty of touches and opportunities to make plays.

And this isn't your typical lacrosse tournament.

Costumes are part of the game! Teams choose a theme and team name, and players take the field in matching costumes while competing against other teams of ghosts, ghouls, and goblins.

In addition to the lacrosse, Monster Mash features costume and team-name contests, food vendors, activities, and plenty of Halloween fun throughout the day.

Each team is guaranteed multiple games, with championship games held within each age bracket.

Because Monster Mash teams register together, SYL will organize our Swampscott teams before families complete the official 3d registration.

We've created a simple two-step process:

STEP 1: Complete the SYL Monster Mash Player Interest Form

If your player would like to participate, please complete the form below:

Please submit one response per player.

We'll use the responses to determine interest by boys/girls division and grade, determine how many teams we can field, and organize the SYL rosters.

STEP 2: Register with 3d Lacrosse

Once SYL teams and rosters have been determined, we'll contact participating families with:

• Their assigned SYL team
• Team name
• Coach/team manager information
• Instructions for completing official registration and payment through 3d Lacrosse

Please do not register directly with 3d yet. Completing the SYL Google Form is the first step.
